Friday June 18th
Shruti
Shruthi: Sitting Sound Meditation with Śunya, guided by Jan Michael, is a monthly immersive sound healing experience designed to deepen presence, focus, and internal awareness. Held on the third Friday of each month, this unique practice combines a 40-minute seated sound meditation with a 20-minute integration in Śavasana. Unlike traditional sound baths, this session invites a more active and intentional form of listening. Participants remain seated for the majority of the experience, allowing for heightened awareness of vibration, subtle energetic shifts, and internal stillness. Sound is offered both around and on the body, creating a deeply immersive and resonant environment. Guided by Jan Michael, each session incorporates optional mantra chanting, offering an additional layer of engagement for those who wish to participate, while still supporting those who prefer to receive passively. This offering is ideal for individuals with prior meditation or sound healing experience, or anyone ready to explore a more focused and advanced sound practice that cultivates sustained attention and inner clarity. Join Jan Michael each month to experience the transformative power of sound through stillness, presence, and intentional awareness.
