Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher Training

A training for yoga teachers who wish to bring a more intentional and beneficial yoga class to trauma survivors. This is a 16-hour training for yoga teachers who wish to bring a more intentional and beneficial yoga class to trauma survivors.

This training will provide yoga teachers with an in-depth understanding of the human nervous system and how different types of trauma affect all of us. Learn about PTSD and the difference between “Big T” trauma and “little t” trauma. Analyze cultural, societal, and economic factors contributing to inequity in common yoga spaces and beyond. We'll then explore the science and evidence behind body-based healing modalities such as yoga.
